Autumn Eye shadow | Revolution Palette

The palette in question is the New-Trials vs Neutrals eye shadow palette which features 16 shades, 6 mattes and a mix of shimmers, with around 4 of these shades featuring a subtle shimmer.

The packaging as usual is basic and sleek featuring a matte black case with rose gold writing. As usual with Revolution eye shadow palettes there is a decent sized mirror inside and a new double ended eye shadow brush. I have to say compared to the normal brushes you get with palettes this one isn’t too bad! The bristles feel much softer than normal, although there is the odd scratch still when using it to apply the shadows. It’s not brilliant for blending either but if your’e on the go not the worst brush you could have with you!

The eye shadows themselves feel very soft to apply and blend really well. The pigmentation is relatively good, some of the lighter shades you need to work with more but overall they are pretty impressive for the price. The palette retails for £6.99 which I think is super affordable for what you get!

The top row features the orangey shades which are perfect for this time of yeah! They are also handy for doing a grunge look. The top row is also predominantly made of of more matte colours.

The bottom row feature mostly shimmery shades and are mostly cool toned colours.

All of the above swatches are two swipes for each shadow.

I am really loving this palette at the moment and am really enjoying the autumn creations I have managed with these colours only. I would really recommend this palette as its an all rounder, you have your brown neutral eye and can also created smokey and glam looks.

Happy Shadowing!
